Production Workflow Introduction

A Critical Success Factor for our business is "Get It Right The First Time".

This culture ensures our clients are happy at the end of each project and long lasting successful business relationships are forged.

To ensure we do get it right the first time we believe it is absolutely essential to spend just as much time on the front end planning of your project as we would on shooting and post production work.

Our front end planning begins with initial client discussion to ensure we have a common understanding of the aim and purpose of the project. Following this discussion we present a first draft 'Project Proposal' for the client's perusal and discussion. This proposal will contain a scope of work and cost estimate for the optimal solution (and alternatives if required). Following any revisions, the content of a Final Proposal is agreed to. Once project approval is given this becomes the nucleus for the more detailed planning.

Detailed planning provides a 'Production Outline', followed by a script, shooting requirements and shooting schedule.

During the entire planning process we work closely with client representatives with sign off at each decision stage. This ensures our clients get exactly what they expect, with a minimum disruption to their operations during any filming.

On acceptance of the Final Proposal by the client the project cost will remain fixed unless a variation of scope is agreed to by both the client and ourselves.

During all major projects, professional project management practices are used to ensure the work is completed to schedule and the impact of problems are understood and work arounds can be implemented.
